May. 13th, 2003 03:19 pmI don't know why I write this stuff. This one came almost whole out of my brain, like Athena hitting me on the head with a copy of "OK Computer."
Y'know, when I first started writing in 1996, no one (but no one) wrote in present tense. More importantly, no one *liked* reading stuff in present tense. You had to warn people in case they needed to back out. I remember putting a disclaimer on my first fic that said "This fic is in present tense. If you don't like it, go away." (I was so gracious back then).
Since then, everyone has started writing in present tense. It's weird, but it's true.
Anyway. ( fitter happer more productive: a banquet of weirdness )
